For the first time I have finally driven a RHD vehicle, and what a vehicle it is. A Honda Acty, a JDM RHD mid-engined AWD manual two-door utility trucklet from the Land of the Rising Sun. Shenanigains ensue.

Man, I want a Sambar Dias Classic so bad. There was one for sale at a really good price in New Jersey that I couldn't get because of the 2 week quarantine requirement - by the time it was temporarily lifted, the van had sold, and there arent any more in the country.

I hadn’t thought about taking the Mini through a drive through in reverse. That would get some looks.

Just remember that when driving one of these a person must rev the engine to the max when the vehicle is in gear, change lanes before signaling while accelerating at the rear bumper of the car in front, and ( ideally) causing the vehicles in the other lane to slam on their brakes to avoid an accident. When driving a Kei truck stop signs are optional, and you can move through an intersection on red while opposing traffic has a yellow light, but you must slam on your brakes 1 truck length into the intersection before proceeding.

Proper procedure also seems to include driving as far over the speed limit as the vehicle can manage without rolling during sudden swerves or while cornering.*

*Visual evidence indicates this should be done at all times regardless of limited sight distance to oncoming traffic or other obstacles such as pedestrians or people on bicycles.
